DIANA & STEVE- NORFOLK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER- THE ASSEMBLY HOUSE

I first met Diana and Steve at their engagement shoot at the start of the year and we could of spent ages together. I had such a lovely time with them chatting and hearing about their wedding plans. Fast forward 6 months and it was finally their wedding day and I couldn’t wait to see them again.

Diana’s family are living in New Zealand and so many of them were able to make it to the wedding. She started getting ready at The Assembly house in the morning with her maid of honour. With all of her family upstairs in their rooms also getting ready.

I went to Steves house to photograph him getting ready before the ceremony, and although he looked super smart getting ready his little niece looked quite the princess all dressed up, and almost stole the show. I then went back to Diana and once she was ready and looking so stunning in her dress, It was time to make our way to the church.

The service was lovely and so personal to them. It was my first wedding where the parents of both Diana and Steve also walked down the isle and it was a lovely touch. Along with all of the little ones with their heart shaped balloons. After some “I dos”, a first kiss, and signing of the register they were now Mr & Mrs Reilly-Hii. The first of their kind!

They walked out of the church and were showered in bubbles by all of their guests. After a few formal images we head back to The Assembly House for their welcome drinks and Canapés, and then for a lovely three course meal. Which were followed by some hilariously funny and really heartfelt speeches from themselves and their family and friends.
