SOUTHWOOD HALL WEDDING- LISA & CHRIS- NORFOLK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
On Friday I was back again for another lovely Southwood Hall Wedding. This time it was for the lovely Lisa & Chris, who booked me almost exactly a year ago to their wedding date. After a few weeks of wet & windy weather, I was delighted that Sun was forecasted for their day!
My morning started with a quick visit to Chris to get a few photos of him opening his lovely gifts from Lisa with his best men and family. Once finished I then went straight to Lisa’s parent’s house to capture the girls. I was greeted by Lisa’s dad with a tray of hot sausage rolls, a table filled with nibbles and glasses full of Prosecco. A sign you know they’re already having a good time!
Lisa was so relaxed in the morning and really looked like she was enjoying it all. They had been so organised in the run-up to the wedding, that there was no way things couldn’t have run smoothly. After giving out some gifts, finishing the prosecco and having a little dance in the living room, it was time for Lisa to get into her dress! We had some lovely moments when Lisa’s Dad saw her in her dress, and then again when she walked out to her Nan! Once everyone else was ready, we went into the garden for a few photos before it was time for me to leave for Southwood Hall.
On arrival, everyone was beginning to get seated ready for the ceremony to begin. Chris was looking very excited standing at the front with his best men by his side. As Lisa walked down the aisle there were certainly a few tears from some guests, she looked stunning! The ceremony continued with some lovely readings, and those all-important I do’s. Then they walked out as Husband & Wife! Everyone was then to enjoy the delicious canapes and prosecco on what I’d call perfect wedding weather! Blue skies and sunshine, but not too hot. Once all of the group photos were finished and I’d captured all the decor inside Southwood Hall, everyone was called in to be seated ready for the speeches.
The speeches were excellent! A lovely heartfelt speech from Lisa’s Dad, and then again from Chris. Topped with two funny best men speeches! They all did a really good job. Then, after a delicious meal, which I also got to enjoy, we went out to chase the sunset. Southwood Hall has some lovely gardens which photograph so well. So along with a smiley, loved-up couple, I was spoilt for choice with photos!
As the evening went on Lisa and Chris had their lovely first dance, which then lead to a full dance floor with everyone joining in on the party. Which only got bigger once the shots were in full flow. Thank you to Lisa, Chris and all of your family and friends for being so lovely and welcoming. I hope you love the sneak peeks!
Also, a big shout out to all of the awesome suppliers and this wedding! Brendan & Gary, excellent videographers from Thompson Granger. The SaxWalker on the Saxophone, whilst Sean Goodman wowed us with magic. Not forgetting Bill Downs in the evening providing an awesome party!
