A Norfolk Winter Wedding- Emily & Alex- Kimberley Hall

Alex and Emily’s Norfolk winter wedding at Kimberley Hall was the perfect example of how magical a seasonal celebration can be. Their day had a subtle Christmas feel — thoughtfully styled rather than overdone — with elegant William Morris bows, softly lit Christmas trees and a beautifully crisp winter atmosphere. Both Alex and Emily got ready at Kimberley Hall, making the morning feel calm, cosy and completely unhurried, before I popped over to meet the groom at one of the charming cottages on the estate.

Their ceremony took place at Wymondham Abbey, which looked absolutely breathtaking in winter, dressed with glowing Christmas trees that suited the scale and grandeur of the space perfectly. After a heartfelt ceremony, guests spilled out into the cold for confetti outside the Abbey — one of those moments that proves winter weddings photograph just as beautifully as summer ones. A classic red bus then whisked everyone back to Kimberley Hall, adding a fun, relaxed touch to the day and setting the tone for the celebrations to come.

Back at Kimberley Hall, guests enjoyed champagne, mingled by the house and braved the cold for group photos against the stunning winter backdrop. As the evening unfolded, the celebrations moved indoors with incredible food, emotional speeches and a packed dance floor that carried on late into the night. Alex and Emily’s day is a perfect reminder that a Norfolk winter wedding can be atmospheric, stylish and full of warmth — and Kimberley Hall is a truly spectacular setting for it.
