RACHEL & MARK- CHIPPENHAM WEDDING- NORFOLK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Rachel & Mark are so lovely and I’ve been looking forward to their wedding for a long time! They booked me back in March 2016 after I had photographed Rachels best friend Jo’s wedding. We first met to talk about their plans for their wedding day at Rosewood Pavilion and then again for their engagement shoot. These two are so natural together. Constantly smiling when they are with one another that it’s hard to get a photo where they don’t look incredibly happy!
I arrived with Rachel and her bridesmaids in Waterbeach where they were all so relaxed. Preparations were in full swing and it was almost time for them to get dressed. It’s always scary how quick everything goes on a wedding day. Rachel’s parents soon arrived and she got dressed in her beautiful wedding dress.
The Bentley picked up the bridesmaids first and then returned to take Rachel and her Dad to the church. Rachel & Mark had chosen such a beautiful church! Very light and spacious and basically everything us photographers hope for. Mark looked very excited waiting at the end of the aisle for Rachel, and his smile turned in to a huge beaming grin when he saw her. After some lovely readings from friends, they said their vows and exchanged rings and became Mr & Mrs Smith!
After masses of confetti, the couple made their way to Rosewood Pavilion for the start of their reception. Rachel, Mark and I made a start straight away on their couple photos as there was rain forecasted for later on. As soon as we’d finished these they made their way back for a glass of Pimms and some canapés. We whizzed through their group photos with thanks to all the helpful bridal party gathering everyone. Just in time too, as the rain then started to pour. However, no spirits were dampened and there were plenty of toasts to the happy couple throughout the speeches.
As the night moved on the rain lightened up a little and we managed a few more photos outside. But as soon as the band started playing the dance floor was full, and so it should be! Everyone was rocking out and throwing some really crazy shapes! Thanks, Rachel & Mark for such a lovely day! I hope you love my highlights.
