Sunday saw possibly one of the hottest days do far this year, but most importantly it was the day that Ellie & Marcus had the Georgian Townhouse Wedding. After having to rearrange their engagement shoot 3 times due to bad weather earlier this year. Then finally having it on a very hot day in April. So they certainly lucked out completely with the weather as Saturday was a scorcher! I soon got a feel for their theme for the wedding and absolutely loved it…. COLOUR!! From pompoms and fans in the Pembroke room to the colourful bouquets and centrepieces. Everything looked great and was perfect for a summer day!
The ceremony soon came around and it was time for them to be married. Ellie had written the loveliest poem which was so personal to them both. It definitely prompted a few tears from their family and friends. After a few glasses of Pimms and some canapes, the whole party made their way to The Plantation Garden for some photos. Most walked, but Ellie & Marcus had different plans. Ellie’s dad cycled them there in a very colourful bike & wagon which certainly caught the attention of people passing by! It was then time for the couple and their guests to enjoy the lovely meal at The Georgian Townhouse and relax down for the afternoon.
After a few toasts and some lovely speeches, everyone went back outside to enjoy the last of the sun whilst listening to the beautiful sound of Laurence Brooks. Marcus and Ellie decided to have their first dance outside. It was such a good idea to make the most of the beautiful weather. They danced under the festoon lights as Mr & Mrs and then were joined shortly after by all of their lovely guests! Yet again, another incredible, beautiful wedding!
