This Voewood wedding was nothing short of magical. As I arrived in the morning, I could feel the excitement building with the boys playing games on the lawn and the girls getting ready with music playing in the background. Hayley Holiday worked her magic on their make-up, while Aime Kelly created stunning hairstyles. The atmosphere was buzzing with anticipation for Emily and Chris’s special day.
The ceremony at Holt Church was absolutely beautiful. The sunlight streaming through the stained-glass windows, creating the perfect backdrop for the couple’s vows. After the ceremony, everyone made their way back to Voewood for canapes and drinks South African style. The golden hour was the most romantic lighting, and we made the most of it to capture stunning images of Emily and Chris against the backdrop of the Norfolk countryside. Emily is also the owner of a wedding Stationary business. So you can imagine how brilliant the decor for the day was.
The stretch tent was a beautiful setting for dinner and speeches. And it’s clear Emily and Chris are surrounded by so much love and support from their family and friends. Instead of cutting a cake, Emily and Chris opted for a huge pavlova that everyone helped themselves to. It was a unique and fun way to celebrate them, and it added a touch of personality to their wedding day. The evening was filled with singing and dancing. Voewood was the perfect setting for such a lively celebration.
As a photographer, it was a joy to capture every moment of Emily and Chris’s wedding day. The love and happiness that surrounded them was palpable. I am grateful to have been a part of such a beautiful day.
